Boston Children's Hospital's Nursing Department's orientation handbook was created for the hospital's Nursing Education Department, The goal of this project was to collect and organize several disparate print hand-outs and PowerPoint presentations into one cohesive handbook that every nurse at Boston Children's receives at the time of orientation.
Topics in the handbook include Human Resources contacts, hospital policies, synergy model, etc. The tone of the handbook was intended as modern and sophisticated, with an emphasis on clear communication for the purpose of educating and informing new hires at the hospital.
